About us

Pennybeck Cat Lodge was established in 1999 and is owned and run exclusively by Sheila & Trevor Scrivener, we aim to provide expert loving care that comes from many years of caring and rescuing cats. We are open 7 days a week and licensed by the local authority.

The premises are set in 2 acres of beautiful south facing grounds. The cat lodges look out over a large area of lawn full of wildlife. The runs themselves do not overlook one another ensuring that our guests are not stressed by fellow boarders. You will see on our accommodation page a variety of lodge styles with both penthouse sleeping quarters as well as ‘walk in runs’ for elderly or infirm cats that may have difficulty climbing etc..

Our premises are protected by CCTV and an alarm system ensuring that your much loved pet will be kept safe and sound. You are welcome to come along to meet us during our normal opening hours – no appointment is necessary.
